General Surgery

surgery2013 We have private outpatient surgery rooms for patients and families where nurses provide assessment, care planning and education before and after surgical procedures. If you are scheduled for surgery with Care Regional Medical Center, your surgeon orders a pre-admission testing visit. An appointment is made at your convenience three to seven days prior to surgery. During this appointment a nurse reviews your personal surgery instructions and completes a nursing assessment. Blood work, EKG, chest x-ray, and any other necessary tests are also completed. Through pre-admission testing, our surgical services team provides a less stressful time for patients and family members to get answers to questions, receive information, and have testing done before the day of surgery. Our team focuses on creating a comfortable and positive experience for our surgical patients.
